Instrumental Teacher - Keyboard/Piano
The Vacancy
We are looking for an inspiring Keyboard/Piano teacher to join our thriving team of music educators within our North Birmingham Music School. This role involves delivering high-quality instrumental tuition during evening sessions, helping people of all ages develop their musical skills, confidence and enjoyment of music.
As an Instrumental Teacher Keyboard/Piano, you will:
- Deliver engaging and inspiring keyboard and piano lessons
- Teach students across a range of ages, abilities and musical styles.
- Support learners in achieving their musical goals, whether for enjoyment, performance opportunities or graded examinations.
- Create a positive and inclusive learning environment that encourages musical progression.
- Monitor student progress and provide constructive feedback to students and parents.
- Work as part of a professional team committed to delivering exceptional music education.
We are looking for someone who:
- Is an accomplished pianist and/or keyboard player with strong teaching skills.
- Has experience teaching people of all ages, either individually or in groups.
- Holds relevant musical qualifications or equivalent professional experience.
- Can motivate and inspire students of all ages and abilities.
- Has excellent communication and interpersonal skills.
- Is reliable, organised and able to work independently.
- Is committed to safeguarding and promoting the welfare of children and young people.
